While it’s been more than 75 years, the trauma of the Holocaust is still present for those survivors living here in South Florida. Our management team has been certified through the HonoringLife® program to ensure that Holocaust survivors and those who have been severely traumatized will receive sensitive and empathetic care.
Our unique expertise in Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia provides the basis for our training that teaches caregivers how to improve the lives of those living with the disease by teaching them how to redirect behavior, avoid triggers that can upset those patients and cognitive stimulation activities that keep them active, engaged and stimulated.
Our Parkinson’s training includes teaching our caregivers about both motor and non-motor symptoms, disease progression and the importance of timing and food when taking Parkinson’s medications. Our unique understanding of the disease allows us to improve the quality of life for those living with Parkinson’s.
